Lone Wolf (1988) Redux

A YouTube commentor on our original Lone Wolf clip mentioned this scene in which the wolf attacks a hapless woods-walker and then shows his maimed body the pieces he removed. How gruesome!

Lone Wolf (1988)
October rules for so many reasons: the coming of fall, my birthday, the world series, my birthday, but mostly, freakin HALLOWEEN! Only Christmas beats it out in terms of the crazy amounts of ephemera and fanatics who save the ephemera. And just like Christmas, you get to indulge in copious amounts of media related to it. I'm fudging this stat a bit to include all horror movies, but you can shut the hell up. Despite horror films being available year round, this is the time to especially bust out the big guns: Vampires, Werewolves, Mummies and Frankenstein's monster.
Anyways, here's a sweet werewolf rampage clip from Lone Wolf, just about the best part of the whole movie. Up until this point, the story moves kind of slow with nonsensical progression and bad references to other werewolf films, "This isn't Michael J. Fox were talking about!" The sound is a little off in this clip, but don't let that spoil it's awesomeness for you.
Overall, the movie is fun, and the short time we get a good look at the wolf, he's pretty bad ass, but I wouldn't call Lone Wolf a must see. It's directed by John Callas who went from this to produce a couple episodes of Bobby's World, weird. Writer Michael Krueger however, pumped out a nice little string of interesting sounding horror films such as Mind Killer and Night Vision as well as The Amityville Curse.
And this lady is not a werewolf, but I just love TV news in movies, and I love this lady's look too, like "JESUS PEOPLE! THERE'S A WOLF ABOUTA EATCHA!"
Ok, I couldn't find a trailer, but WTF is this?
And lastly, as an added bit of awesome I wanted to include this sweet vinyl rip of "The Curse of the Werewolf" from Power Records. WFMU posted this some years ago, and it's great fun to get you in the mood for Halloween.
